Your favourite Flush Plates, now with a new name

Sigma20 Square
Sigma50 Round

At Geberit, we are committed to making your experience with our products as seamless and intuitive as possible. That's why we're introducing changes to the naming of our flush plates, effective from 1st January. These updates will help you easily identify our products within our extensive portfolio while also offering valuable upselling opportunities.

What's changing?

Our flush plates will now be named based on their button shape - either square or round. This clear and consistent naming convention will simplify product selection and specification.

Here’s a quick guide to the upcoming name changes:

  • Sigma21 has become Sigma50 Round
  • Sigma30 single flush has become Sigma10 Square
  • Sigma30 dual flush has become Sigma20 Square
  • Omega30 has become Omega20 Square
  • Urinal Type30 has become Urinal Type20

These changes are purely in the naming, meaning the product codes, high-quality materials, and reliable performance you've come to expect from Geberit remain unchanged.

When will you see these changes?

Online Changes: You will start seeing the new names reflected on our website and digital platforms starting from 1st January.

Product Label Updates: Labels on physical products will transition to the new naming convention from 1st April.

We recommend familiarising yourself with these changes to ensure smooth transitions in your product selections and sales processes.

Why are we making these changes?

The goal of this update is to provide a clearer and more intuitive way to categorise our products. Whether you are specifying for a commercial project or a residential bathroom upgrade, these new names will help to:

  • Easily Identify Products: The button shape-based names offer an instant visual reference.
  • Enhance Upselling Opportunities: With clearer distinctions, it's easier to recommend the right flush plate to meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Maintain Product Familiarity: While the names are changing, the trusted performance and innovative design remain the same.

What this means for you

If you're a designer, installer, or distributor, rest assured that the changes are designed to support you. With no modifications to product codes, there’s no need to update your inventory systems extensively. Simply use the new naming convention in customer interactions and product recommendations.
